My Kind of Town

Somewhere during my time in Chicago, it transformed from the big city I'd idealized in high school into simply the place I live - where I go to work, pay the rent, walk my dog. But with the inevitability of our departure looming before us, nostalgia rushes back like a tidal wave.

Chicago has shaped me greatly, but I always knew I wouldn't stay. For all the places I have been and the places I have yet to go, I will always be grateful for my time here, and for the people I've been fortunate enough to meet along that path.
